In Testing
Having previously tried various thermal tops, this Icebreaker felt the most comfortable as the temperature continued to drop. The merino wool was not only soft but also allowed for light, flexible movement throughout my long runs. This automatically regulated my temperature and prevented odour through its nature-driven materials. The top was easy to layer with on colder days, and perfect by itself on warmer ones!
Verdict
This Icebreaker top may be at a higher price point, but its capabilities driven from natural sources do well to justify its position. Through this top, comfort and function have been brought together to create a warmer, softer, and breathable base layer which would be perfect for an active day in any climate.
