FAQs

How to stay visible when running in the dark?

Running after the sun has gone down or low light hours of the morning may seem a little unnerving for some people, but it could be the only time you have in your day. If so, an important piece of kit, making you visible to passing vehicles and other potential hazards, is high-vis gear. This can either be reflective details on clothing or accessories, or lights like head torches and LEDs that clip onto clothing. Find out more in The Best High-Vis Running Gear »

How do I wash my running gear?

The special technical fabrics in running gear need different care to regular cotton. But once you know what to do, it's actually simple and straightforward. We recommend washing all your technical gear at 30 degrees, ideally with detergent designed for sportswear. Do not use any softener and remember to line dry rather than tumble drying or using heat.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,’ wrote Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu: a saying that teaches all of us that even the longest and most difficult ventures have a starting point. Remember it’s just you and the road ahead. With the right gear, you're bound to get the running bug, and stick to your wonderful new habit!
