In Testing

Hylo Athletics is a realtively new brand on the market. To have a complete understanding of not only the model but also of the brand, I tested the Hylo Impact 2 on multiple different occasions, varying in distance, weather conditions and terrain.

I felt that the unique rubber pods underfoot were handling wet weather easier than other road shoes. Most noticeable was the shoe's level of responsiveness and cushioning, both of which I felt balanced each other and allowed me to run effortlessly. These factors also remained the same whether I took the Impact 2 on a 5K training session or a half-marathon.

Verdict

The Hylo Athletics Impact 2 presents runners with the balance between responsiveness, traction and comfort they may have only dreamed of. Hylo presents to the market sustainable shoes with lightweight cushioning and a unique approach to road running, and deserves a growing audience!
