The notch - or grid - construction of the fabric traps warm air to keep you warm without a thick fabric, but also speeds up moisture evaporation. It feels very soft on the underside, is quick drying, and suitable for layering. The thumb holes protect your hands whilst the hood offers that extra protection when you need it. Overall, a great thermal for the cooler months which will see you from chilly autumn mornings through to cold January sessions.
