In Testing

After trying them on in the house for about 30 minutes, the shoes felt fine in terms of comfort and fit – so I went outside to test them out further. I particularly noticed how responsive the shoes felt. Brooks have done a fantastic job in keeping this longstanding favourite running shoe operating how it should. And another massive thing I enjoyed was the upper material conforming to my feet, therefore ensuring my running style was authentic.

These shoes also function well for standing and walking around in due to the construction of the midsole, which has now increased by 7mm. Not to mention the nitrogen-infused cushioning, which just is a match made in comfort heaven.

Verdict

If you enjoyed the previous model, you'll certainly want to try this iteration out. Not much has changed, except a bouncier, more responsive midsole to provide the ultimate comfort, even on those longer runs. Plush heel counter support for added stability. Without compromising on performance, Brooks continues to incorporate significant amount of recycled materials, with a big push on sustainability – whats not to love?
