Sri Chinmoy 5K Race at Silverknowes

Sri Chinmoy 5K Race at Silverknowes

Friday 7th August 2020

Silverknowes Esplanade, Tearoom, Marine Drive, Edinburgh, EH4 5ES

After careful consideration, following the updates on phased return to competition from Scottish Athletics and the Scottish Government, Sri Chinmoy AC has bowed to the inevitable and made the decision to cancel the Run and Become Sri Chinmoy 5k Road Race for 2020.

Restrictions are still certain to be in place in August, and concern for the safety of participants, spectators and volunteers, make this the most sensible course of action.

We appreciate this will be disappointing for many of you. Over the last few years so many Scottish clubs have supported the race and made it a fun event for all.

Those who have entered will have their race fee refunded in full.  We are working with Ian McLaughlin at Entry Central to have this processed to you all in the next few days. We ask for your patience while we arrange this to happen as smoothly as possible.

Take care and remember, running isn’t cancelled  it’s just adapting. We will all get to pin a number on again soon.
