Core Connection with the GYROKINESIS® method

A full-body working movement class, using the GYROKINESIS® method.

Improve your running performance and protect your lower back and joints by increasing your core/pelvic floor connection. Working with the GYROKINESIS® method will enable you to:

  • Run lighter, using deep core muscles to take the load off your knees and hips
  • Increase your running efficiency
  • Improve your upper body posture while running
  • Improve breathing efficiency
  • Increase tone, strength, flexibility through movement and breath
  • Practise dynamic movements, active stretching
  • Increase range of motion
  • Gain full spine articulation

For the class you will need a stool or hard chair (no arms), a mat if you like to use one, and a bit of floor space. We will work standing, seated and on the floor.

About Sudhira Hay

Sudhira is a lifelong runner, with training in a variety of movement disciplines, including yoga, karate, kungfu, ballet and modern dance, and aerial rope. She have also run 10 marathons and a couple of ultra-marathons. It was while training in aerial circus that she came across the GYROKINESIS® method and realized how good it is for all  types of bodies and how much it helps in any physical discipline.

She is currently teaching GYROKINESIS® classes online, by donation for the rest of 2020 so now is a great time to try it! More information:
