Glutes and core muscles play a crucial role in running. These areas transfer power from lower to upper body, and by stabilising the hips enable joints such as ankle and knees to work at their best.
This dramatically increases efficiency, and prevents common injuries from arising. That's why specific training of these muscles, often times forgotten, should be always included in a runner's conditioning routine.
This workshop by Nordic Balance's personal trainer Alessandro will guide you through a selection of glutes and core exercises specifically for runners, to help running technique and improve performance.
