Therapearl is a new 2-in-1 hot & cold pack. The innovative pearl technology provides a reusable pack that can be frozen or microwaved. Therapearl Shin Wrap and Therapearl Knee Wrap also come with Velcro straps that allow convenient wear, without the need of holding the pack to the injured area. They keep the pack securely in place for fully effective relief, allowing you to get on with your daily routine. Therapearl pack is even so slim that you can wear it under pants.
When frozen, the pearl technology allows the pack to be flexible enough to rest comfortably on the injured area, providing no wetness or need of a towel, as you would with ice. The pack holds its therapeutic temperature for a full 20 minutes, so you get fast, effective relief from your aches and pains. To get cold therapy as a relief for your sore muscles or sprains, you need to freeze the Therapearl pack for at least 2 hours. When heated in a microwave, it has the perfect relaxing effect to soothe stiff muscles. The pack should be applied to skin for the doctor-recommended time of 20 minutes.
I really like the product, and would certainly use it again. From my own experience of using both the Therapearl and a bag of peas, I found the Therapearl to be the most comfortable; it allowed me to feel the relief from the ice without the pressure. I found it also very convenient that it comes with a strap, allowing me to get on with my day. Also I found that using the pack when heated is more effective than a hot water bottle, as that can become too hot for the skin. This pack provides the body with the correct temperature for it to be effective, for both hot and cold therapy.
