Sri Chinmoy Kangaroo Hop 5K

With a fine mist in the air and relatively cool temperatures, 400 runners gathered on the start line for the Sri Chinmoy Kangaroo Hop 5K.

Nick Bester was the winner in 15:06, followed by Matthew Rallison (15:12) and Rui Yong Soh (15:15).

Jessica Saunders was the first woman in 16:47, followed by Rebecca Bunting (17:14) and Felicity Harrison (17:15).

Congratulations to Koji Miyazaki of Aldershot who broke the Vet 60 record for the second time this season, with 17:36.

Thirteen year old Luca Moloney Pedro ran a very fast 18:10 and congratulations to sixteen year old Evelyn Peters from Oregon, USA who ran a PB of 20:21.

That completes our summer series of races. We hope to see you all in the autumn for the Golden Leaf 10K and the Grizzly Bear 10K.
