Sri Chinmoy Hasty Hare 5K, 2022

At the end of another warm summer's day, 200 athletes gathered in Battersea Park for the Sri Chinmoy Hasty Hare 5K.

Alexander Lepretre from Highgate Harriers smashed the course record, crossing the finish line in 14:21. Seyfu Jamaal was second in 14:55.

Rebecca Bunting was the first woman in 17:01 followed by Helen Gaunt in 17:09.

A special mention for Laila Hellyer and Lillie Hellyer, both age 14, who finished in 17:54 and 18:25 respectively. 

Terry Booth was the first Vet 50 in 17:02 and Anna Critchlow (Woman V50) finished in 19:06.
