There are two clubs in East London that have a great juniors section, and this is one of them. The Beagles have a fearsome reputation and record in producing medal-winning performances, this is after all the club of Mo Farah! So, if you've got a kid with promise, or are determined to excel in your running, this is the club for you. That's not to say that the club is elitist, all standards are welcome here, but if you're a little intimidated by what you read below then East End RR may be more your kind of club.

Athletes of all standards are invited to join this all inclusive club. We are an open club, and welcome members of all abilities, gender, disability and ethnicity.

The club welcomes prospective athletes from the age of eight years and upwards offering the opportunity to train and compete. You are not required to join in the first place, as we offer the opportunity to sample the club for £3 a session. It is however necessary to join before being able to compete for the club.

Newham and Essex Beagles are one of the most successful athletics clubs in Britain. In the past four years the Beagles have finished the year three times as British Athletics League Champions. This coincides with an amazing two year run where Newham and Essex Beagles completed two years finishing 1st in every single league meeting.

On top of this, the Beagles have had exceptional success on the international circuit. This included 14 of our athletes (including 2 Higher Competition) competing in the 2011 World Championships in Daegu. This also brought an impressive medal haul from Beagles athletes, with Mo Farah bringing home one Gold in the 5,000m to go along with his Silver in the 10,000m.
