Ultra-light and ultra-fast, the Endorphin Speed 4, Saucony’s superb racing shoe, is designed to help you to achieve your running goals whilst lessening the strain on your body. The new winged nylon plate is more flexible than a carbon plate so this road trainer is suited to training as well as racing. The premium PWRRUN PB midsole is super-soft, with superb energy return properties to generate maximum rebound and comfort.

Midsole:
The PWRRUN PB midsole is designed to provide superior cushioning and responsiveness for runners. Its high energy return of 88% means that it absorbs and then releases a large amount of energy with each landing, propelling you forward and enhancing your running performance. Compared to traditional EVA foam, PWRRUN PB offers a significant advantage in terms of durability. It is also consistent across various temperature conditions.
The re-engineered nylon plate is designed with vertical reinforcement that enhances torsional rigidity. This reinforcement adds stability and support to the shoe, allowing for efficient energy transfer and enhancing your overall speed. However, the flexibility of the forefoot is not compromised by the addition of reinforcement. The design ensures that the forefoot remains flexible, allowing a natural range of motion and encouraging a swift gait. This combination of torsional rigidity and forefoot flexibility creates an optimal balance in the shoe. It provides the necessary support to enhance performance while allowing the fluid and smooth movement required for speed.
Outersole:
Durable rubber with a cancellated (lattice-like) pattern has been placed in areas with high wear, to increase the lifespan of this premium racer.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
