The Mizuno Wave Sky 7 is a highly cushioned neutral road running shoe. Designed to offer you a 'floating running experience' thanks to the super-soft Energy Core midsole. Mizuno’s Wave technology provides excellent shock absorption and guides your foot to encourage a balanced, smooth and natural running motion. To finish everything off perfectly, the Smooth Stretch Woven mesh is soft and breathable.

The midsole of Sky 7 is made from two layers of different foams. The top layer, Enerzy core, is designed to provide exceptional comfort and cushioning, giving you a soft and plush feeling with each step. This layer is also highly responsive, allowing for quick energy transfer and a bouncy sensation.
The bottom layer of the midsole is where the real power lies. This layer is made of the Mizuno Enerzy foam, which is engineered to give excellent energy return. This means that when you push off from the ground, the foam compresses and stores energy, only to release it during toe-off. This results in a powerful rebound, propelling you forward and enhancing your running or walking performance.
The combination of the soft and bouncy top layer with the responsive and energy-returning bottom layer creates a unique and dynamic cushioning system. Not only does it ensure a comfortable and smooth ride but it also absorbs the impact from running on roads.
Upper:
The Smooth Stretch Woven upper is completely seamless. Its precise fit ensures that your feet are held securely in place. The increased perforation on the forefoot allows for better airflow and ventilation, keeping your feet comfortable.
Being a neutral shoe, the Wave Sky is designed for runners with a neutral foot strike. The Wave technology in the midsole offers your foot stability (but not support for over-pronation).

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
