Description
La Sportiva's Mutant fell running shoe for women is an excellent option for many different off-road terrains, from muddy hills and mountains to fields and parks or even sky running. The upgraded lacing system secures the foot offering more stability on any uneven terrain. The sole is ultra-sticky rubber with deep, well-spaced lugs to optimise grip on slippery ground. The new upper design is inspired by the topography of the Val di Fiemme valley.

The EVA injected midsole keeps the same responsive feel during the entire lifespan of the shoe thanks to the reduced 'squash' effect of the foam.
The SpyralTongue™ technology helps with quick pulling on and off but also works as an integrated gaiter that hugs the lower part of the ankle and keeps debris, stones and mud out. It also allows fit adjustments when your feet swell due to heat or long runs.
Unique lacing system with FusionGate™ technology; the laces are integrated into the upper to ensure an incredibly secure fit that holds as you scramble up, down and over the most challenging trial terrains.
The FriXion® White outsole rubber is a super sticky, non-marking durable compound. Designed for high performance in mountain running. The 6.5mm deep lugs, spaced to provide excellent grip and mud-release, makes this trainer ideal for sky-racing or running, running on soft or muddy terrain and over any distance.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
