What’s New?
Asics’ designers have kept the energetic FF BLAST MAX foam in the midsole but added a new FF TURBO SQUARED trampoline pod in the forefoot, for an even more springy sensation underfoot. Together, these technologies help create bouncy landings, great impact-absorption and a more energised ride during your training.
Some overlays on the upper have been stripped out and replaced by a single layer of lightweight, breathable, woven mesh just so it feels a bit lighter. Its precise, close-to-the-foot shape, and the winged tongue, ensure a secure fit.

The ASICSGRIP™ is a special outsole technology that provides excellent traction on the roads. It's paired with AHAR LO™, rubber which is super durable. These materials are placed in high-wear areas on the outsole, so you benefit from excellent grip and softness, without the fear of the outsole wearing out quickly.
This is truly a neutral running-shoe, so if you’ve got any instability in your running gait this is not the shoe for you, it doesn’t have any natural stability and we’ve seen a few too many runners over-pronating heavily in this model. Just a warning – we know it’s a popular shoe!

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
