The ASICS GT-1000 14 GS is a premium anti-pronation road running shoe built to support and protect young runners every step of the way. Featuring the advanced 3D Guidance System™ in the midsole, it stabilises the arch and helps guide the foot for a more controlled, confident stride by reducing excessive inward rolling. Soft, responsive cushioning absorbs impact from hard surfaces. Designed on a kid-specific last, it provides a secure yet comfortable fit.

Upper:
The upgraded seamless toecap and a smooth, breathable upper keep children’s feet comfortable. Paired with a spacious forefoot, it allows plenty of room for natural toe movement and a bit of growth. A secure fit through the midfoot and heel enhances stability, helping prevent slipping in these areas. Built on a kid-specific last, the design balances performance and comfort.
Midsole:
The trusted 3D Guidance System™ is engineered to improve stability and support a child’s natural foot structure, with particular emphasis on the medial side beneath the arch. Using a firmer-density material, it helps promote proper body alignment by limiting over-pronation and reducing inward rolling of the feet during running.
A soft midsole paired with Rearfoot GEL™ technology in the heel delivers effective cushioning and impact absorption, helping to reduce shock from running on hard surfaces. This is especially important for children, providing extra comfort and protection for growing feet and limbs.
Outersole:
The durable rubber on the outsole is anti-slip and non-marking, so is suitable for indoor use too.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
