Outersole
This was the first carbon-plated racing shoe I had ever tried, having previously attempted to beat my PBs in more flexible nylon-plated shoes.
The cushioning provided in the midsole of the Pro 4 meant that I felt no impact on my knees, which I had expected. It took me significantly less time to finish a 10K race, and I felt the propulsion from beginning to end.
Having built up my stamina and speed with the Endorphin Speed 4, also from the Saucony Endorphin Collection, I was able to efficiently utilise the Endorphin Pro 4 to the level it required.
Capitalising on tried-and-tested features, Saucony has impressed once more by implementing valuable changes. The transition from heel to toe is seamless, the effects of the carbon plate are felt immediately – ideal for race day!
