Cons(iderations)

In Testing

Straight off the bat, the Endorphin Elite 2 felt bouncier and more propulsive than the previous version I tried. The cushioning was thick, but not at all heavy. The slightly flexible carbon plate did its job in giving me constant energy-return without feeling intrusive. I wore the Elite for a 10K, and as hoped, was able to get a PB. I doubt that would’ve been possible without them!

Verdict

Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 is a racing shoe unlike its contemporaries, with top-of-the-range plush cushioning and a slotted carbon plate. Its features are a recipe for success, especially for runners seeking to push themselves and bring out their best on race days.
