In Testing
I’ve trialled quite a few waterproof jackets over the years, but the Janji RainRunner Pack felt different in all regards. I noticed elements of the jacket that were far superior to its counterparts on the market.
This includes the unique panel-venting system, which in the simplest of ways meant that I felt far dryer, even with more layers underneath. The recycled polyester used throughout the jacket is soft and flexible, aiding ease-of-movement even on longer runs.
Given that I prefer not to carry my phone, keys and gels in a separate waist pack, the three zipped-pockets were ideal, and will surely become of use in all future autumn/winter runs.
Verdict
A waterproof running jacket is a key staple in any runner’s wardrobe, at least for the push to keep going even in the wetter, bleaker times of year! The Janji RainRunner has proven to be a best-seller in this regard, providing total weather protection whilst retaining a high level of ventilation and all-round comfort. It will provide the same essential benefits whether you go for a run, hike or even for wear over casual clothes – a must-have for layering.
