Description
A few exciting updates have been implemented in our popular Saucony Ride 17 to make this running shoe even more comfortable and secure. This neutral road running trainer now features a bouncier PWRRUN+ midsole; designed to give you a plenty of springy cushioning with increased energy return. The new lacing system holds your feet securely. The redesigned upper with perforation through the mid-foot is more breathable to keep your feet fresh and speedy up drying if you shoes get wet.

Upper:
The breathable mesh upper features a new lacing system to provide you with a secure locked-in hold. Higher perforation in the mid-foot area promotes improved moisture management. The lightweight tongue alongside the padded heel collar keeps your foot protected and comfortable.
Midsole:
The PWRRUN foam has been updated to the bouncier PWRRUN+ cushioning. The new PWRRUN+ midsole is softer and gives 10% more energy return in comparison with its predecessor to give you an energized ride. The sockliner is also made from PWRRUN+ foam for a plush feel underfoot right from your first step.
Outersole:
More durable rubber has been added to places with high wear, increasing durability.

Saucony was founded way back in 1898. Since then, they have been loyal to running, continuing to innovate and renew themselves, and to incorporate more sustainable running gear into their range. By 2024 their goal is to use no virgin plastic, and by 2030 to be 100% circular.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
