The legendary OMM Kamleika Jacket with a Nylon outer layer is now more durable than ever. Still fully waterproof, super breathable and lightweight. Designed to give you maximum freedom of movement for everyday running, walking and biking activity and featured to meet the requirements of a Mountain Marathon runner. Kamleika is extremely soft and stretchy allowing this jacket to fit tight to your body to reduce flapping fabric and noise while offering complete freedom of movement with full protection against the wind and the rain. The fabric has good breathable properties that are further aided by reduced air volume inside the jacket from the stretch fit. Some of the extra features include the two huge hand pockets, adjustable hood, tab cuffs and two way YKK zip to allow venting. A lightweight but well-shaped peak completes the hood.
OMM invented stretch waterproofs a little over 20 years ago, and the Kamleika was the first waterproof to introduce true stretch. They’ve improved on the technology over the years to reduce weight, improve breathability and add features but the formula has stayed the same. Now in its 5th generation, the latest Kamleika builds upon decades of design and thorough testing in the harshest of races.
OMM was named after the ‘Original Mountain Marathon’ – a two-day mountain event, held in a different region across the UK every year. It started back in 1968 and still continues today. Participants must carry all their gear, including equipment for an overnight camp. This legendary event is famous of the infamous weather conditions and rough terrain.
