Description
Designed for female road runners with a neutral mid-foot strike. The brand new Ghost MAX also works well for those coming back from injury who need extra cushioning protection for their feet. The unique GlideRoll Rocker system rocks you forward to encourage a smooth, effortless stride. The high stack of soft DNA LOFT v2 cushioning and lower (6mm) offset encourages a mid-foot strike rather than heavy heel landing, enabling your smooth transition from landing to toe-off. This is not a replacement or upgrade of Brook’s Ghost 15, it’s a complimentary addition to their excellent range of running shoes.

Ideal Use:
For neutral runners with mid-foot strike, walkers who suffer with foot-pain (like Morton's neuroma, metatarsalgia and plantar fasciitis).
Upper:
The soft upper material is shaped in Linear Last construction to provide your feet with a perfect fit regardless your foot shape. It also accommodates an orthotic insole as well. The mesh is lightweight, soft and breathable to keep your feet comfortable by wicking moisture away.
Midsole:
Brooks' DNA LOFT 2 foam is their premium cushioning material. Designed to give a super soft feeling underfoot and absorb the impact from hard surface.
A brand new GlideRoll Rocker system is unique to Ghost MAX. This special technology actively encourages your smooth mid-foot to toe-off transition to help your effortless ride. This assisted transition can help to prevent muscle strain and decrease pressure on ankle joints.
The midsole is built with a 6mm heel drop. This lower offset combined with the GlideRoll Rocker and soft cushioning can in some cases benefit metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma injuries.
Outsole:
Rubber on the outsole is made from durable materials. The mild grip can be helpful if you run in a park.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
