The Brooks Cascadia 19 GTX is a fully waterproof trail running shoe designed to keep your feet dry and protected in wet conditions. An extra 2mm of responsive DNA LOFT v3 foam in the midsole provides added cushioning for enhanced comfort. The updated Ballistic Rock Shield plus a deep outsole grip improves adaptability and stability on even the most challenging trails.

The GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane is seamlessly bonded to the upper for a lightweight, flexible feel that delivers breathable comfort and reliable waterproof protection in wet weather. A durable toe protector adds an extra layer of defence against impacts and abrasions.
Midsole:
Featuring the advanced, nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 foam, this midsole is lighter and softer than its predecessor, delivering gentler landings and enhanced cushioning. The extra 2mm of foam in the heel and 4mm in the forefoot results in a new 6mm offset, delivering greater cushioning and comfort while promoting a natural midfoot landing. Integrated Ballistic Rock Shield offers robust protection against sharp rocks and debris without sacrificing flexibility.
Outersole:
The updated Trail Adapt System combines a flexible design with the Ballistic Rock Shield, seamlessly integrated into the DNA LOFT v3 midsole to provide stability and adaptability on rugged terrain. The TrailTack Green outsole, with multidirectional grip, delivers reliable traction across wet and dry surfaces for all-terrain performance.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
