Run Club 44th Birthday Celebration

We've been serving runners since 1982, and we'd love to celebrate with the people who make our community so special.

Your Stories

Bring along your oldest running T-shirt, race vest, medal, or running memento and share a story from your running journey. It could be your first race, a memorable marathon, an inspiring comeback, or simply the reason you started running.

And if you're new to running, we'd love to hear your story too. Maybe you've just completed your first 5k, started training for a new challenge, or simply discovered the joy of getting out for a run. Every running journey has a beginning, and every story matters.

Prizes

We'll have prizes for the oldest item, the best story, and maybe even the newest runner!

RunClub

Join us for a fun, social 5k, cup cakes, refreshments and a celebration of the running community that has made the last 44 years so special.

Whether you've been running for 44 years, 44 months, 44 weeks, or just 44 days, come and celebrate with us. 🏃🎂

What's Happening...

🎉 6.30pm – Birthday Welcome
Meet fellow runners, catch up with friends old and new, and help us kick off our 44th birthday celebrations.

🏃 6.45pm – Birthday Run
Head out for a fun, easy, social 5k around beautiful St James's Park. No pressure, no stopwatches – just good company and great conversations.

🧁 7.20pm – Cupcakes & Birthday Treats
Back to the shop for refreshments, birthday cupcakes and a chance to celebrate 44 years of Run and Become.

📖 7.30pm – Running Stories
The floor is yours! Share a favourite running memory, a race story, your proudest achievement, or even how you first discovered running. Whether you've been running for decades or just started recently, we'd love to hear your story.

🎁 7.50pm – Birthday Prizes
We'll be giving away prizes for:

• The oldest running memento
• The best running story
• The newest runner
• And a few surprise birthday prizes too!
