The world's most carbohydrate-rich sports drink now with caffeine! Each serving contains 100 mg of caffeine and delivers 80g of carbohydrates (500 ml). Maurten products are based on hydrogel technology; made from natural alginate, pectin, electrolytes and carbohydrates. There is no added flavour, colourants or preservatives. The hydrogel technology encapsulates high concentrations of carbohydrates and caffeine to fuel during acitivity and avoid stomach upsets. Can be used before or during activity. The Drink MIX 320 CAF 100 contains 100 mg of caffeine – that’s the equivalent of 1,5 espressos – or one cup of brewed coffee. That’s a lot compared to many of the traditional sports drinks out there.
Use the Drink MIX 320 CAF 100 on its own during shorter durations, or combine it with other Maurten products to ensure you have enough carbohydrates throughout your session.
Instructions
Mix the content of each sachet with 500 ml of water and shake well until dissolved. Be accurate, the functionality depends on this ratio. The mix is designed to be mixed with water containing less than100mg/L calcium content. Higher levels can affect how it's dissolved. Consume the sports drink before, during, and or directly after activity.

Why caffeine?
Caffeine has been shown to promote alertness and reduce perceived effort and pain. These are properties that can be beneficial in sports performance. The Drink MIX 320 CAF 100 can be used for building up caffeine levels – on its own, together with other caffeine sources, such as regular coffee – or to achieve sufficient caffeine levels during activity.
Amount of energy
Studies have shown that our bodies can make use of up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. One Drink Mix 320 sachet, mixed with 500 ml of water – contains 80 grams of carbohydrates.
How does it work?
Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 is built on hydrogel technology*. When mixed with water you have a liquid carbohydrate sports drink containing a high concentration of maltodextrin, fructose and caffeine. The drink instantly converts to hydrogel in the acidity of the stomach. The hydrogel enables a smooth transportation of the drink through the stomach to the intestine where the water, salt, and carbohydrates are absorbed.
