In Testing

For a faster running session, I tried the Altra FWD Experience running shoes that were recommended to me. I was not let down. Their Rocker technology allows for a smooth transition from heel-to-toe, lessening the impact on my joints.

I also have to add, running in these shoes did feel more effortless as I built up my milage and pace. Personally, a massive game-changer when it comes to running faster!

Verdict

The Altra FWD Experience are the first Altra shoes with a non-zero drop. As an appreciator of Altra's shoe shape, but apprehensive about zero-drop shoes, I must say that this shoe has captured my heart.

They are incredibly lightweight, so if you're a neutral runner looking to set a personal best, I suggest you give these a try.
