Description
New Balance's Fresh Foam X 1080v13 2E is one of our premium neutral road running shoes, in a wide fitting. The main update is the increased stack height and added cushioning in the midsole which makes the shoe even more comfortable, right from your first run. The upgraded upper is lighter and more breathable; designed to hold your feet whilst feeling soft and comfortable. The new groove design on the outsole encourages a smooth roll through your stride.

The redesigned upper is softer and lighter providing you with a luxurious feel. The performance fabric is engineered to wrap around your foot comfortably and deliver the perfect fit along with excellent breathability.
New Balance's Fresh foam X has been used only in their top of the range products. The 1080v13 is no an exception. This bouncy midsole has increased in volume; packed with energy return cushioning to ensure your soft landing and energetic toe-off.
The flex grooves on the outer sole with a new vertical design promote a smooth heel-to-toe transition. The slightly stiffer forefoot engages with your feet for an easy push-off after the soft midfoot landing.
Fresh Foam X 1080v13 meets New Balance's Green Leaf standard, which means the upper is produced from 50% or more recycled plastic and the midsole features at least 3% bio-based / 5% recycled materials.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
