The Asics Gel Cumulus 26 for women is our excellent neutral road running shoe for short to long distance running. This latest edition features a revamped upper, heel collar and midsole with increased cushioning to provide increased comfort, improved fit and breathability. The wider platform helps keep your feet stable, whilst offering plenty of room to spread your toes. Its thickness has been increased by 2mm for a plusher feeling with each stride.

The new engineered upper is more breathable and lightweight. The mesh material allows for airflow, ensuring your feet remain cool and dry even during more intense runs. The redesigned heel collar and knit tongue is now the same as the premium Nimbus 26 style, shaped to hold your feet securely in place, preventing any unwanted friction.
The FF Blast+ midsole foam is crafted to provide a combination of softness and energy return. Two millimetres of the foam has been added to the midsole, in comparison to previous version 25, to offer you greater softness underfoot. This means that when you step into the shoe, you'll experience a plush and comfortable feel. The FF Blast+ foam also has built-in shock absorption properties, which help to reduce the impact on your feet whilst running. Whether you're going for a long-distance run or a quick sprint, the FF Blast+ midsole foam will provide the cushioning needed to keep your feet comfortable and protected.
The Pure Gel inserted in the heel of the midsole is 65% softer than its predecessor, the visible Gel, to provide plush step-in comfort and absorb impact when landing.
The thicker rubber outsole, now measuring 8mm, offers a lightweight and durable solution. This added thickness enhances the durability of the outsole, making it more resistant to wear and tear.
Asics is named after the Latin phrase ‘Anima Sana In Corpore Sano’, which means ‘A Sound Mind in a Sound Body’. The brand has lived up to its commitment to promoting healthy, fulfilling and sustainable lifestyles around the world for over 70 years.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
