The Saucony Peregrine RFG is most certainly the lightest trail shoe I have run in thus far. With the fit being snug, it felt more like a slipper than a trainer. The cushioning was also optimal – not overpowering as is commonly the case these days, when the demand for hyper-cushioned shoes outruns the need most runners have for it.
Although feeling minimalistic, the Peregrine RFG trail running shoes also proved itself strong against the elements during my runs through the forest. Given its many vegan-friendly elements, it felt rewarding to play a part in adapting my trail runs with a running shoe which not only felt comfortable but was also made to protect the same environment that I run in so often.
Highly recommended for trail or hybrid runners wanting a light, responsive shoe for their everyday training. Feeling just as cushioned and comfortable as its non-sustainable version, the Peregrine RFG will elevate any runner's day (or night!) on the trail.
