Verdict

Minimum weight for maximum load! Being an Inov-8 backpack user I found the padded shoulder harness too padded to start with and was aware of it around the neck area, but the foam gave a little with wear and molded to my body. Once I got to know the bag, I really enjoyed the little pockets, meshing, adjustable and compression straps and became a master of customizing the bag to any event I'm up to. I particularly enjoy the zipped waist hugging pockets on either side allowing quick and easy access to the most important bits and bobs. I use this bag for commuting to and from work; it's my favorite for winter use, when the change of clothes becomes thicker and bulkier and takes up much more space than in summer. The side pockets hold the OMM water bottle and a variety of bigger sized water bottles. Not only do I have instant access to hydration, but the action of sliding the bottle back into the pocket is the smoothest I have ever experienced in running bags.

Along with the OMM Classic 25L one they are my ultimate for traveling. I can fit in everything I need, the size is acceptable for hand luggage and the removable Duomat extremely handy for beaches or taking a break anywhere during the trip.

Even though the backpack is made of highly wicking material, I have experienced bit of a sweating and wet t-shirt on the back on longer summer bike rides, but not more than with any other running backpacks I have used.

For the shorter or larger chested bodies in need of a similar volume backpack I'd recommend to check out the Gregory running backpacks range.
