JOIN NOWThe PWRRUN foam under the heel in the midsole is 26.5mm thick and 22.5mm in the forefoot, creating a 4mm offset to offer you a stable platform on uneven trails. Saucony's trademark PWRRUN cushioning is made from EVA based foam to provide responsive softness which absorbs harsh impact. In this latest edition the PWRRUN foam is lighter and bouncier than in its predecessor, giving you a smoother ride and additional comfort.
The new sockliner adds to the comfort, as it is now 7mm thick, offering you a super-soft feeling beneath your foot.
The upgraded rock plate is more flexible. It protects against sharp debris that can dig into your foot. The increased flexibility of the rock plate also makes the midsole more agile for a smooth ride.
The fibres in the mesh upper have been strengthened for a snug fit and increased durability. It allows your feet to breathe and carries them securely in comfort. The toe box and the high wear areas in the midfoot have been strengthened with a thin foil to prolong the lifespan of the shoe, which also provides a secure lock-in fit.
The new construction of the durable PWRTRAC outsole with the improved grip configuration sheds mud more efficiently, keeping your feet light and assuring excellent traction, even in muddy conditions.
The mesh upper, collar lining, tongue, webbing and sockliner cover are made from 100% recycled materials to help the sustainability of our planet.
Saucony was founded way back in 1898. Since then, they have been loyal to running, continuing to innovate and renew themselves, and to incorporate more sustainable running gear into their range. By 2024 their goal is to use no virgin plastic, and by 2030 to be 100% circular.
Behind their “Run for Good” logo hides a passion for creating the best footwear, while still maintaining their distinguished designs. These are characterised by a use of colour and not being afraid to break the mould.
In their effort to support sustainability, many of their popular running shoes have started using 100% recycled uppers, like their Saucony Endorphin Collection, Triumph, Omni, Kinvara or Excursion. We are excited to see that their road and trail running shoes are moving in the right direction.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
