In this latest version of Omni 19 Saucony swapped the Everun cushioning for the new upgraded PWRRUN. The PWRRUN is an EVA based cushioning with the increased energy return characteristics and durability to deliver you an energized ride and comfort.
The entire fit of this version, has been renovated by incorporating the new FORMFIT technology. The FORMFIT construction includes the flexible, engineered mesh upper with the 3D print overlays, the fitted tongue, the anti-bacterial sockliner and the padded heel collar to provide you a super comfortable and secure made for me feel – so your running becomes easy and effortless.
To control your foot and decrease your over-pronation, Saucony kept its popular medial post, build in the midsole underneath your arch and extended under your heel. This streamlined support is made of a higher density EVA foam to prevent your arch collapsing inwards (over-pronation) and keep your body in the proper alignment. When you run with the proper alignment you are less likely to suffer from an injury like pain in your knee, hip or Achilles.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
