Saucony’s iconic 4mm drop go-fast road running trainer gets a new lightweight upper. PWRRUN is a layer of super bouncy cushioning material which sits directly below the insole and runs all the way from heel to forefoot, giving fantastic energy return and a springy, cushioned ride.

Details

The midsole features Saucony's premium PWRRUN cushioning. Its lightweight and responsive feel with 88% energy-return means it's excellent at absorbing the impact forces from running on hard surfaces.

The new upper is much lighter to save weight and offer breathability and comfort. The over-layer with 3D print design offers additional structure and a speedy look. Due to this upgraded upper, Kinvara 12 is lighter than ever; with its incredible featherweight of 213g, it is comparable to a racing shoe.

The updated outsole design with increased flex grooves offers your foot greater ground contact, freedom of movement and a smooth ride.

  • New lightweight and seamless upper to hold the feet in comfort
  • PWRRUN cushioning is lightweight and responsive for everyday training
  • Highly flexible outsole for greater ground contact and fast transition
  • 78% of collar and tongue lining is from recycled materials
  • 100% of socliner cover is made from recycled materials

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.

LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.

WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.

SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
