These Ronhill Tech Distance Twin Shorts are perfect for everyday training or racing. The outer short, in a relaxed fit, stretches brilliantly to let you run freely. Fitted with 4 elasticated storage loops to carry gels and 1 secure pocket. 2 side mesh pockets to carry all your essentials. Maximum storage and lots of stretch and support for training and racing.
Ronhill is famous in the UK thanks to its founder – Dr Ron Hill MBE. In September 1970, five months after becoming the first Briton to win the Boston Marathon in a record time of 2:10:30, he decided to produce kit that kept him winning. Dr Ron gained a PhD in Textile Chemistry from the University of Manchester. Through alchemy and his art as a runner, he began to rethink the fly-by-night running kit of the time.
After winning the Commonwealth Games in 1970 he developed the ‘side-split short’ – which famously become the Freedom Shorts – and the Mesh Vest, both having accompanied him to his greatest victories on the road. Since then, Ronhill has been accompanying countless British runners, helping them to achieve their goals.
