The luxurious neutral road running shoe, the New Balance 1080v12 4E, provides comfort for runners who prefer an extra wide fitting. The new ecological upper has a silky feel but also is more flexible and breathable. The Fresh Foam midsole provides superb cushioning for plush step-in comfort. Also available in 2E (wide) fitting.

This latest version of the luxurious neutral road running shoe from New Balance, the 1080v12, is part of their Green Leaf range. The Green Leaf products are environmentally friendly featuring 50% or more recycled materials or organic content.
New Balance's premium Fresh Foam midsole provides super soft cushioning for your feet with plush step-in comfort to absorb the impact on road runs.
The new upper has been upgraded to a luxurious Hipoknit mesh. This is more flexible and softer, adapting to your foot shape and delivering secure hold where needed. The Ultra heel has been replaced by a more traditional looking heel counter to offer a better fit.
The tough Blown Rubber outsole has been added where contact with the ground is made to make this superior trainer more durable and also to increase traction.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
