These Janji Transit Tech Pants are the go-to bottoms for everyday adventures and variable conditions. Featuring three secure pockets, a refined fit and a lightweight, stretch fabric with a DWR finish. Now made from recycled polyester for reduced environmental impact. The Transit Tech fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

This new Janji Transit Tech fabric is made from recycled polyester to help reduce its impact. It has a C6 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. C6 DWR is made from short-chain PFC's (perfluorinated chemicals) which are better, environmentally, than long-chain PFC's. Janji recognise that even this treatment isn't as green as it could be, so they continue to look and test for an alternative to C6 DWR finish that will not compromise on the performance of the Transit Tech fabric. This reflects Janji's responsbile and transparent attitude to environmental impact.
- Lightweight, breathable, wind-resistant Transit Tech fabric has a durable water repellent (DWR) finish to shed light rain
- Fast drying, bi-stretch maintains next-to-skin comfort over prolonged adventures in variable weather
- Double-weave loopers on the interior of the fabric keep the pant from sticking to sweaty skin
- Minimal elastic waistband with internal drawcord ensures quick adjustment
- Designed to easily layer over shorts while maintaining a modern, tapered fit
- Secure hand pockets have an integrated key loop bungee on the right side while an additional side zip pocket offers secure storage options for your phone, wallet, keys and more
- Semi-elastic cuffs make for easy on/off

More About Janji
Janji was founded over 10 years ago by two college track mates (Dave & Mike) in the city of Boston. Their aim was to create a brand that had a purpose beyond high-performance gear and actually used running as a mechanism to give back to communities. That's where the name 'Janji' originated from – it means ‘promise’ in Indonesian. Their promise was to expand access to clean water around the globe.
Each season is inspired by a location. They then also partner with a water charity in that location and donate 2% of every sale to support their clean water projects. Sustainability of the brand is a key pillar in how Janji was founded. All of their materials are either Bluesign Certified, OKEO-Tex certified or both. More and more of their products each season are being developed using recycled fabrics. Their DWR finish is now completely PFC-free, while still maintaining the same 30k waterproof rating.
