A blend of components with a higher percentage of TPU (Thermo PolyUrethane) have been used in the new POWERFLOW MAX foam of the Terraultra 270 to provide you with 20% higher energy return than the previous version and to deliver a softer and snappier feel with every step you make. The improved midsole is also 3mm thicker than in comparison with its predecessor to promote a plusher feel and optimise performance on your longer runs. The new super-soft Boomerang inner lining offers you 40% more energy return due to hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and then bounce back.
The new Adapterfit upper is designed from softer, stronger, and flexible materials to offer you more protection and comfort. It also encourages more stretch to adjust to the expansion of your feet or to the uneven movements on hazardous trail terrain. The toe box is a bit wider alongside with the upgraded lighter tongue, to deliver improved fit and increased comfort.
The outsole features the revolutionary Graphene-Grip rubber which has been designed in partnership with the experts at The University of Manchester. Inov-8 is the only company using Graphene, the world’s strongest material in the running shoes to deliver you the best: the most durable, toughest, and insanely sticky traction. The 4mm deep Graphene cleats placed in the key areas of the midsole, next to the fine-tuned flex grooves, promote incredible grip with agile properties. The cleats also feature rubber dimples and water dispersion channels to offer you extra protection on hard or wet surfaces.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
