The full-length compression EVA technology in the midsole offers double the amount of cushioning in comparison to a standard running shoe. This gives you plenty of responsive cushioning for an excellent absorption of shock from your running, and soft comfort.
The Early Stage Meta Rocker built in to the midsole of Clifton 7, as well as the lower heel drop, are designed to enhance your running efficiency by encouraging your natural gait cycle. The difference between the heel and the forefoot is 5mm, meaning the low heel drop supports you in the midfoot strike rather than heel strike; this decreases the impact on your hips, knees or Achilles. From midfoot striking, the Meta Rocker rocks you forward on your toe-off to provide a smooth and easy ride.
Small improvements have been made on the frame of Clifton 7; the eyestays have been reinforced to offer you more durability. The improved mesh tongue is lightweight and secured to prevent any movement causing irritation. The new vertical tab has been implemented on the heel counter for a super easy slip-on and a sporty look.
The Clifton 7 is designed to be used on your short or long trainings runs, or even ultra-distance.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
