The medial (inside) GuideRail works at the heel level to catch the foot and prevent excess inward rotation of the knee. It gives ‘on demand support’ only coming into play only when needed – if you pronate a lot, it will give a lot of support, if you pronate a little but more when you’re tired, it will support the foot accordingly. The second Guiderail sits on the lateral side (outside) of the heel stabilizing the heel and stopping it from rotating outward. This outward rotation causes the knee to twist and can lead to injury.
There’s no compromise with cushioning in the GTS 19 - BioMogo DNA midsole offers responsive cushioning and a softer compound at the rear – DNA Loft – gives a soft landing. A segmented Crash Pad accommodates any landing – heel or midfoot - and gives you a smooth heel to toe transition.
The upper consists of an engineered mesh with 3D Fit Print overlays for a secure fit and breathability.
- Engineered mesh with 3D Fit Printed saddle pulls from the heel and wraps around the midfoot for structure and a comfortable fit
- BioMogo DNA midsole cushioning adapts to your stride
- Softer DNA Loft at heel for a cushioned feeling at initial impact phase
- GuideRails stabilize the foot and reduce rotation to take the pressure off the knee
