A blend of DNA foam, rubber and air has been finely calibrated to deliver you Brooks' super soft DNA LOFT cushioning. In the Ghost 13 predecessor, it has been placed only in the heel area to promote you a softer ride. In this new version the DNA LOFT has been extended to the midfoot area to enhance you with a bouncier feel underneath of your foot without loosing responsiveness.
The new Engineered Air Mesh upper is breathable to allow your feet being ventilated. It holds your foot in a secure comfort due to its flexible and seamless properties. An advanced screen-printing process has been used to promote the 3D Fit Print technology on the upper and deliver you an optimal stretch for a perfect fit.
The Flex Grooves technology on the outer sole allow you foot to flex where needed and encourage a smooth heel to toe transition.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
