The GuideRails technology is located on the inner and outer side of the midsole, extending a little way up the upper of the shoe. This unique support technology starts under your arch and runs around your heel, thus stabilising your heel eversion with it’s inner wall and limiting excess heel rotation with it’s outer wall. By reducing the excess rotation the GuideRails addresses the foot and knee relationship to offer you a more natural ride, which can help to decrease of risk of pain and injury to your legs.
Brooks has also increased the density in the midsole to add more stability to this super stable and super cushion running shoe.
By implementing GuideRailes technology this shoe has significantly reduced it’s weight in comparison with it’s predecessor, without compromising on a high level of stability and cushioning.
The BioMogo DNA cushioning in the midsole delivers maximum softness with a responsive underfoot feeling, plus durability. A full-length Segmented Crash Pad accommodates every heel strike action and enhances your heel to toe transition.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
