Read more »The Guidance Trusstic technology is located in the middle of the outer sole to increase the strength of the Dynamic Duomax support. The Guidance Trusstic is now gender specific. In the men’s version, it reinforces the support towards your arch; the women’s version adds to the stability in the progression of your onward movement to encourage a smooth ride.
The Dynamic Duomax support is the post built in the midsole under your arch and heel on the medial side. The primary function of the Guidance Trusstic and the Dynamic Duomax technologies are to decrease the over-pronation of your arch and keep your body posture in a naturally straight position.
The FlyteFoam Propel is a super soft and bouncy top layer in the midsole; alongside this is the Flytefoam, which is the bottom layer of the cushioning in the midsole. There is also gel cushioning in the middle, providing you with the softest underfoot comfort and fantastic shock absorption. Asics have reduced the density of the upgraded FlyteFoam Propel to promote an easy footstrike to toe-off transition.
The updated upper features Adaptive Fit to reduce any friction and provide plush comfort and fit. The shape of the heel gradient is also gender specific: the men’s version is naturally wider than the women’s version.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
