Women's Support Road Running Shoes
Unavailable to buy

Asics' GT-2000 for women is a reliable well-cushioned road running shoe for the overpronator. More recycled materials have been used to craft this eleventh edition and support sustainability of the planet. The improved jacquard mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, designed to offer you a plush fit. The Duomax support has been blended with the Trusstic technology into one piece, the new LiteTruss to offer you a smoother and easier ride.

Details

In the upper, a new improved jacquard mesh offers breathability and also gives support across the top of the foot. More recycled plastic has been used on the upper, tongue and in the toe box, in comparison with its predecessor to highlight the importance of protecting the environment.

The new LiteTruss technology in the midsole blends Dynamic Duomax support with Trusstic to create an effortless progression from your heel landing to your forefoot and toes off. It also reduces the excessive collapsing inwards of your arch to keep your gait in straight alignment.

For cushioning you have Gel in the rear and forefoot. The top layer of the midsole is FF Blast for comfy, lightweight cushioning and the lower layer is Flytefoam offering resilient, long-lasting shock absorption. A new Ortholite X-30 sockliner provides a plush next-to-foot feeling.

The 3D Space Construction has been implemented in Asics' top styles. This modern way of stability offers more comfort. The increased compression of the midsole induces better shock absorption and less impact. This new technology also assists in the control against over-pronation through the stride.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.

LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.

WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.

SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
