Following the natural shape of our feet with a broad, straight toe-box design is one of the main features of all Altra shoes. This ‘Footshape’ design features a wide toe box shaped to your feet, allowing your toes to relax and spread out naturally. This keeps your feet more stable and reduces over-pronation. The enhanced stability of the Footshape toe box allows a powerful toe-off to maximise your running efficiency and performance.
The new Quantic cushioning provides the same - or better - impact protection but in a smaller mass, so the shoe is lighter, sleeker and 2mm closer to the ground, all at no expense to overall cushioning.
Grooves on the outsole have been strategically decoupled, providing a more flexible and smooth ride.
The mesh on the uppers has been updated to a soft and lightweight performance mesh providing breathability and comfort.
Stack Heights: 26mm, heel and forefoot (zero drop)
- Quantic technology in the midsole provides the perfect blend of plush, responsive cushioning and a lightweight ride
- Innerflex structure of grid like grooves in the midsole allows the feet to flex naturally and results in a smoother stride and better performance
- Zero Drop platform places heel and forefoot the same distance from the ground for maintaining a natural body position throughout the stride
- Footshape toe box allows toes to naturally spread out and relax, it also reduces over-pronation by keeping feet stable.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
