The InnovArch technology, solely available in Altra's Provision style, has been refined to offer you an improved fit, support and encourage better proprioception - the feedback from your feet through your body to your brain - in order to empower your natural gait cycle. The InnovArch is built into the mesh of the midfoot; it arises from the midsole on the medial and later lifts towards the lacing system.
This shoe features the Guide Rail technology which provides mild anti-pronation support to keep your feet aligned and eliminate any excessive downwards movement from your arches. The Guide Rail support performs only when you need it without interfering with your natural stride – which is why this shoe can be used by neutral runners as well as over-pronators.
Altra's typical rounded Footshape forefoot follows the shape of your feet so you can spread them freely without experiencing any irritation.
The zero-drop midsole is 26mm thick. There is no rise at any point, the equal distance under your heel, midfoot and forefoot to the ground stimulates your optimal alignment and allows low impact landing. The bouncy cushioning absorbs the shock from running on hard roads.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
