Paradigm is a perfect road running shoe for a forefoot or mid-foot runner who demands maximum cushioning as well as support, a spacious toe box and a zero drop platform. There is no limit to your running distance with these shoes as they are designed for short or long training sessions including ultra-distances or just for walking around.
The Altra Ego midsole has been designed to offer you plenty of springy yet responsive cushioning, with the energy return feature to minimize the impact from running on hard surfaces.
The GuideRail system placed on the inner side of your arch and ankle area reduces your foot's excessive movement inwards and that way, this keeps your body in its natural running gait. The STABILIPODS technology amplifies the support by enhancing stability in the three pressure zones of your foot.
The fit across midfoot has been improved in this new version of Paradigm to deliver more comfort to your feet. The increased flexibility of the midsole allows your foot to move smoothly.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
