At over 100 years old, the Adidas brand has a long history and deep-rooted connection with sport – from major global sports such as football and running, to regional heartbeat sports such as American football and rugby.
Adidas apparel is the perfect choice for eco-conscious runners. In 2021, for the first time, more than 60 percent of all Adidas products were made with sustainable materials. By 2024 Adidas will only use recycled polyester in all products. 99% of Adidas products are PFC free. With that, Adidas moves closer toward its objective to end plastic waste.
Among their last amazing efforts, we can find some running shoes like Adidas SolarCharge, which has been designed with Primegreen recycled material. They’ve also recently launched a fully recyclable sustainable running shoe as part of their ‘Made to be Remade’ project.
