Many Runners have a weak core which leads to discomfort and injury especially as they run for longer distances. Join restorative exercise specialist Balavan Thomas on a three week introductory course.
Learn more than 30 exercises as part of a whole body corrective program to strengthen and improve the function of the core. The course includes:
- Mobilising exercises
- Freeing up your waist
- Strengthening exercises
- Ilicas release
- Activating your intercostals
- Abdominal exercises
- Psoas release
- How to de-hump your upper back
At the end of the course you will have the knowledge to strengthen and mobilise the core for long term health.
Balavan has been a runner for more than thirty years. Since 2012 he has been a running coach and for the last two years he has been studying biomechanics with scientist Katy Bowman.
