£65 for 4 weeks

Comprehensive four week course. Chi Running teaches a safe and efficient, natural running technique to reduce injury and improve personal performance.

You will be guided through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what Chi Running feels like in your body. You will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might imagine) so no matter what condition you are in, have no fear!

Each session will be an hour long and you will spend time alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills. We will meet at the Run and Become shop but the running drills and exercises will take place outside the shop. 

You will learn how to:

  • Reduce your risk of injury with better running form
  • Make your running more energy-efficient and low-impact so you can run faster for less effort
  • Improve your breathing skills for endurance and speed
  • Run with the most efficient “natural running” technique
  • Land with a true midfoot strike
  • Get the correct cadence for your running speed
  • Improve your running posture
  • Run hills safely and efficiently

The first session will include video analysis of your running form, so that you know the main things you need to work on during the course.
